b A Look At Watchmaking (NAPSA)—The time may be right to consider a carr in watchmaking. While millions of fine-quality Swiss timepieces have bn sold in the U.S. over the past two decades, there are fewer and fewer qualified technicians able to service those watches. To remedy this growing gap, schools across the nation are opening their doors to teach the timeless art of timepiece manufacture. The Swatch Group (U.S.) Inc., for example, has opened the door to the WATCHMAKERS WANTED to learn the timeless art of timepiece manufacturing. Nicolas G. Hayek Watchmaking School in Secaucus, New Jersey. The school, housed in the watch companyservice facility, follows the Watchmakersof Switzerland Training and Educational Program (WOSTEP) curriculum, comprising a two-year, 3,000-hour training program. The school is one of five in the U.S. The other schools are Okmulg, Oklahoma; Lititz, Pennsylvania; Seattle, Washington; and St. Paul, Minnesota.
