At-Home Educational Activities For Parents, Children (NAPSA)—For parents and children looking for ways to make learning fun, Fujifilm PhotoPals is now on the Internet to offer a new dimension to educational activities at home. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Fujifilm PhotoPals is a pen pal program that combines photography with letter writing, offering teachers and students creative educational programs. Now, with the help of the Internet, this approach has been expanded to give parents easy access to a number of home activities—such as teaching the family about the environment. Parents can also find expert tips on how to encourage their children’s creativity and strengthen studying and learning skills, as well as links to other parenting, education and photography resources. Through the program, children are encouraged to become “pen pals” with other PhotoPals from all over the country—via letter and photo exchanges. On the dedicated Web site, children can post pictures into the photo gallery, play games while learning about the environment and learn all about the United States with an interactive map that has “pop-up” facts about each state. “With the online presence, families now have immediate access to a program that has served teachers for a decade,” said Matt Knicker- bocker, Vice President, Marketing, Consumer Markets Division, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc.
