Since its inception in 1932, New Eyes has helped nearly six million visually impaired people in many foreign nations, as well as in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Since 1993, Pearle Vision and the Pearle Vision Foundation, a non-profit organization, have partnered with New Eyes for the Needy to provide corrective eyewear to those in need. Recently, the Foundation awarded a $28,000 grant to New Eyesto aid in the purchase of new prescription eyewear for approximately 1,000 people across the U.S. through its eyeglass voucher program—bringing the total grants awardedto this organization by the Foundation to nearly $200,000.
