Make sure all pets wear collars with up-to-date identification. The ASPCA also recommends microchipping as a more permanent form of ID. *Get a rescue alert sticker and display it so rescuers will know that pets are inside your home. Include your pet in evacuation plans. If it’s not safe for you to stay, it’s not safe for your pet.
