Treatment For Baldness May Aid Female Chemotherapy Patients (NAPSA)—There may be good news for females who have experienced hair loss due to chemotherapy. A recent pilot study conducted in Auckland, New Zealand, and published in the peer-reviewed medical journal Psycho-Oncology, indicates that a process used to treat breast cancer patients and those with the condition commonly known as pattern baldness has shown promise in reducing chemotherapy-induced excessive hairloss.
